Register an Azure resource provider#

Azure uses a resource provider mechanism to manage subscription-wide resources. The Global administrator must ensure that the following resource providers are registered before enabling data processing on the SeqsLab platform.

Microsoft.Network
Microsoft.Batch
Microsoft.Storage
Microsoft.Web
Microsoft.Quota
Microsoft.OperationalInsights
microsoft.insights

If any one of the above resource providers are not registered, you must first register the missing resource providers using the Azure Portal, Azure PowerShell, or Azure CLI.

Tip

You must have permission to perform the /register/action operation for the resource provider. The permission is available for the Contributor and Owner Azure roles.
